More than 50% of the existing pools in the United States are manufactured in a manner similar to or exactly the same as this pool. The fact that this pool is significantly more affordable than other construction methods does not mean that it represents a compromise of quality. Ventura Pools has developed a program that enables you to purchase this pool in any of the dozens of sizes and shapes that are available, and build it yourself. Everything is delivered to your home, and we provide the step by step procedures that will be required for you to build the pool. Financing (unsigned) available with terms up to 6 years, OAC.

We will give you the documents necessary to obtain a permit, provide the excavator to prepare the pool site, and we will explain the simple step-by-step procedures required to build your own pool.

We will provide the masons to build the cement floor and optional decks of your pool, and if you need technical assistance we can arrange on-site instruction for an additional fee.

You can build as much or as little of the pool as you want. If you need technical assistance, we are happy to provide it. If you need on-site technical assistance--we can provide it. Just tell us what you need help with, and we will provide assistance for as much or as little as you may need. In those instances where you would like our direct involvement, you will find our labor rates are very competitive.

Our pool package pricing includes almost everything you need to complete your pool. The only items that are not included are items that are variable in nature. Permits are not include because they vary from city to city. Decking and coping is not included since no two decks are ever the same. Electrical run from panel to equipment and electrical connections should be done by a licensed electrician and is not included.

Ventura Pool & Spa entered an exclusive agreement with Kafco pools, a well known and highly respected company in the swimming pool industry. The techniques used to build the Kafco pool significantly reduces the cost of swimming pool construction and Ventura Pool & Spa will be implementing new building methods on its new Oahu Pool. The Oahu Pool is still built under the guidelines of the local Building and Safety Department, and require a building permit. The pool itself is pre-designed and engineered for an expedited build time, at 3 to 4 weeks verses months--and for significantly less cost!

The 15’ X 30’ Oahu Pool is more affordable than in-ground gunite pools.

Viginia Graeme Baker Act

 

If you own or manage a public pool or spa it is your responsibility under the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act to bring it up to code or face closure of the entire pool and/or spa area. We specialize in the low-cost installation of drain retro-fits that will bring your pool up to code. (c) PUBLIC POOLS. (1) REQUIRED EQUIPMENT.
(A) IN GENERAL. Beginning 1 year after the date of enactment of this title
(i) each public pool and spa in the United States shall be equipped with anti-entrapment devices or systems that comply with the ASME/ANSI A112.19.8
performance standard, or any successor standard; and (ii) each public pool and spa in the United States with a single main drain other than an unblockable drain shall be equipped, at a minimum, with 1 or more of the following devices or systems designed to prevent entrapment by pool or spa drains that meets the requirements of subparagraph (B):
(I) SAFETY VACUUM RELEASE SYSTEM. A safety vacuum release system which ceases operation of the pump, reverses the circulation flow, or otherwise provides a vacuum release at a suction outlet when a blockage is detected, that has been tested by an independent third party and found to conform to ASME/ANSI standard A112.19.17 or ASTM standard F2387.
(II) SUCTION-LIMITING VENT SYSTEM. A suction- limiting vent system with a tamper-resistant atmospheric opening.
(III) GRAVITY DRAINAGE SYSTEM. A gravity drainage system that utilizes a collector tank.
(IV) AUTOMATIC PUMP SHUT-OFF SYSTEM. An automatic pump shut-off system.
(V) DRAIN DISABLEMENT. A device or system that disables the drain.
(VI) OTHER SYSTEMS. Any other system determined by the Commission to be equally effective as, or better than, the systems described in subclauses (I) through (V) of this clause at preventing or eliminating the risk of injury or death associated with pool drainage systems.
